The following is not a banner or blinkie, but something dear to my heart that I had to share. Please take a moment to read:

My state is on fire...and not in a good, party in the club way. I mean it's fucking burning in flames...

So as a damn proud Texan and former Austin party girl, I want to put the word out on how we can all help. Donations to the Red Cross are desperately needed to help the victims of the Texas wildfires. At least 476 homes were destroyed in a massive Bastrop County fire that raged into second day after erupting on Sunday. Just over 50 miles to the east, fires also forced the evacuation of residents from an affluent subdivision near Lake Travis in the Austin Hill Country.

Here's some more information about all this: http://www.kxan.com/

Below you can find more information through my affiliate on how to donate and the wildfires. Please help spread the word. My thoughts and prayers go out to all my friends and family in the Hill Country, please stay fucking safe up there!!!

Thank You!

  1. Yeah, its bad over here. I was near the one in Pflugerville. It was behind where my Dad lives. In less than 5 minutes, I saw 3 fire trucks. People already were evacuating and couldn't go home. That was on Sunday.

I have family in Bastrop that were a few miles from that fire and the family I babysit in Bastrop have been out of town and do not know if they have a home to go back to.

My grandparents came to my house when they were called to leave. It's really scary that they have to do that.

    Texas needs rain sooo bad.
